No matter what religion he follows or from what part of the country he is from, every single being in this country likes to pray and touch the feet of Lord Ganesh. Not only in homes but also in every by-lanes or mandal's of every city Lord Ganesha's sthapana is done. Everyone believes that only He can bring joy and happiness to one's life as he is fondly called the Vighnaharta.
